An exciting opportunity has arisen 3 qualified accountants to join this busy mine site, finance team. The role would essentially require relocation and become a DIDO role with such benefits such as housing allowance and private medical. The right candidate would have 5 years experience in a mining related role. Candidates who would prefer FIFO from Perth are also welcome to apply.

The main responsibilities of the role includes

Supervise the capital accounting process within approved procedures.

Manage the accounts payable team to ensure that all suppliers are paid and all accounts are reconciled on an accurate and timely basis.

Control the month end accounting functions to ensure accurate completion and reporting within deadlines.

Control all processing and reconciliation of revenue receipts and royalty payments including management of debtors accounts and timely collection of outstanding balances.

Preparation of statutory financial statements.

Controlling mine site cash flows and cash call procedures

Effectively contribute to and manage the development and improvement of financial operating procedures.

Supervise the payroll function and provide guidance.

Manage all site taxation requirements including Corporate and Indirect Taxation. 

The right candidates will have a Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business/Finance, be CPA or CA qualified and experience with an ERP system, strong knowledge of pronto is preferred but not essential. Broad knowledge of payroll processing methodology and compliance requirements is also a requirement.
